Anikoi

Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Fluid Bloom Media LLC ("we", "us") for the Anikoi app. By using Anikoi you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

1. You must be 18+

Anikoi is only for adults. By using it you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

2. Companions are AI

The characters in Anikoi are fictional and powered by artificial intelligence. They aren't real people, and what they say may be inaccurate, surprising or inappropriate. Don't rely on them for medical, legal, financial, mental-health or other professional advice. If you're in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line (in the US, call or text 988).

3. Acceptable use

Don't use Anikoi to:

• create sexual content involving minors or anyone who appears to be a minor, or content involving non-consent, incest or bestiality
• harass, threaten or impersonate real people, or create sexual content about real people
• seek help with violence, weapons, self-harm or other illegal activity
• reverse-engineer, scrape or abuse the service, or get around usage limits or safety systems

We may block content, limit features or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.

4. Subscriptions

• Anikoi Unlimited is an auto-renewing weekly subscription that unlocks unlimited messages and calls. The price is shown in the app before you buy (currently $7.99 per week in the US).
• New subscribers may get a 3-day free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you're charged.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID. The subscription renews automatically unless it's turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple.
• Free use has daily limits, which may change.

4a. Fair use of "unlimited"

"Unlimited" means unlimited for normal personal use: chatting and calling as much as a person reasonably would. To keep the service fast and affordable for everyone:

• Calls end automatically after 60 minutes, or after 10 minutes without anyone talking. You can call again right away.
• At peak times replies may take a little longer, and after many hours of calls in one day companions may use our standard voice instead of the premium voice for the rest of that day. It switches back automatically.
• There is a high daily usage ceiling per account that normal use never reaches. If you hit it, features pause until the next day.
• Automated use, bots, scripts, account sharing, reselling access or using Anikoi to generate content for other services isn't allowed.

We may limit or suspend accounts that abuse the service.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to process it as needed to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Our content

The app, its characters, art, voices and other content belong to us or our licensors. Some 3D models are used under their creators' licenses; credits are listed in the app.

7. Disclaimers and liability

Anikoi is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Anikoi means you accept the updated terms.
